Who doesn’t love an invitation to go away?  Maybe a trip to the beach… the mountains… some exotic island?  When a close friend or a spouse invites you to go away with them, you feel special and wanted! So how do we respond when God invites us to go away with Him?  The problem is that God’s invitation to “time away” often comes at the most inopportune time, at least from our perspective, yet at the most needed time from God’s perspective.  Join us today as we turn our attention to Jesus’ time away with God in Matthew 3.  From all outside perspectives, it was a “bad time” to get away.  But from God’s perspective it was the essential time.
