Welcome to Hope Born In Christ Church (HBIC)!

 We’re so glad you are checking us out and hope you’ll stop by for a visit sometime soon!

HBIC Church is truly a gathering of people from many backgrounds. Those of us who grew up in church come from a wide variety of denominations. Many of us had no church history at all. This makes us a unique blend of people eagerly seeking to grow spiritually and to learn from God and from one another.

When you enter the church on Sunday morning (or anytime you’re here!), you’ll notice that we are all different.  A few of our church family dress up in suit & tie or dresses while others of us worship in jeans and t-shirts, with others everywhere in between.  Our HBIC family ranges widely in age with many younger families mingling with the “grandparent generation.”  Regardless of your age, your style of dress, or your family situation, you are welcome here!

Our Sunday morning worship services usually last about 75 minutes and consist of contemporary worship, prayer, and a biblical-based sermon.  We have a nursery available during the service (located right outside our sanctuary) for children 3 and under but the kids are more than welcome to join in for worship!  Each week, right before the sermon, our younger students (ages 3 – 2nd grade) are able to leave for Children’s Worship where they will hear an age-appropriate bible story/lesson and continue in worship.  In addition, on the 1st and 3rd Sunday each month, our “Overflow” ministry (3rd – 6th grade) also meet during the sermon for their own time of study and celebration.

While we are part of the Brethren in Christ cluster of churches, we continue to have a heart for people from every walk of life. We believe we are called by God to lead people to experience His intimate presence in worship. We are called to bring a balanced, acceptable approach to the gifts of the Spirit. We also are called to minister to the community with the love and compassion of Jesus. We have a heart for you! We have a heart for hurting people and desire to be God’s healing agents. We especially have a heart for people who don’t yet know Jesus.
