I was born and raised in the Ephrata area and attended Lancaster Bible College to pursue my long-felt call to ministry. I earned both a Bachelors in Pastoral Ministry and Biblical Studies as well as a Masters in Leadership Studies. After college, my first ministry role was at New Joy BIC where I served as youth pastor. It was during this season that I began preaching on a regular basis. After marrying my high school sweetheart Allison in June 2012, we relocated to Lexington, South Carolina. Allison attended the University of South Carolina earned her Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry. During this season, I served as the children’s director for a multi-campus church in the Columbia, SC area. In December 2015, we had our first son, Allan.
Our family is very excited to have moved home to the Lancaster area and return to the Brethren in Christ church! I am eager to fulfill the call God has placed on my life to minister in the local church and faithfully preach God’s Word.
In my spare time, I enjoys reading, camping, and bargain hunting. Allison is an avid baker and enjoys reading and swimming. Allan likes food and getting into anything he can find, but he does not like naps!
