Sometimes God calls us to do unusual things.  Things that the world just doesn’t understand.  Things that leave our friends and family asking “you did what?”  Yet faith calls us out of our comfort zones at times.  Following Jesus means putting His will and His way first.  David experiences this in 1 Samuel 23 as he follows God’s calling and the passions God has placed on his heart even when the world didn’t understand why he would step out in such a way.
