Christmas can be a pretty exciting time of the year…all the trees, presents, nativity scenes, and cookies.  But Christmas can also be a pretty confusing time of the year…all the trees, presents, nativity scenes, and cookies.  It’s no wonder one child summarized Christmas as “the three wise men who followed the star to the North Pole looking for the baby nutcracker.”

This year, as we begin the Advent season, we’re going to explore our celebration of Christmas and begin to ask why do we celebrate the way we do?  Almost every tradition has a purpose or meaning behind it…let’s redeem everyone’s favorite time of the year and begin to look anew at the coming of our Savior!
