Who doesn’t love looking at “before” and “after” pictures?  Whether it’s a television show about organizing, a Hollywood make-over, or a house that has been renovated, we all love to see things change.  However, when it comes to our personal lives, we are not necessarily as keen about changing.  Growth and maturity take work and sometimes we just don’t feel like putting in the effort.  But complacency is not really an option.  As we look at 1 Peter 4 today, Peter challenges us to grow and mature in our walk following Christ’s example.
