At times, we are very good at abridging God’s word down to the easiest memorable details.  As we turn our attention to the seven trumpets in Revelation 8-11 this week, we could simply explore one through seven and skip over the extra details and events.  They don’t seem to be, on the surface, super important in the grand scheme of what the trumpets bring.  And yet, if we dig a little bit, we discover that these “side details” may actually be where the real “meat” of the chapters are found. Rather than focusing on the simplified abridged works of God, let’s dig in to the unabridged words of God!
