Peter started his letter off making sure we know where we are going if we know Jesus.  Our final destination is set, we are just passing through this life, we just need to get to the end goal.  But with only those thoughts in mind, it opens the door to let us wander through this life any way we want regardless of God’s thoughts on the matter.

Before we wander too far, Peter jumps in quickly to challenge us in holiness.  We are called to be holy for God is holy…and this changes the way we live, it changes the way we understand our destination, it changes who I am.
