On Easter, followers of Jesus from all around the world gather to worship our Risen Savior.  As we dip into the Resurrection story each year, it’s interesting to observe how few followers Jesus had the first Easter morning.  Over the course of a few days, all of the disciples had left Jesus.  Peter even denied knowing him at all.  Describing the disciples as fair weather fans would have probably been a better description than followers.

And then the tomb was empty!

The empty tomb changed everything.  The empty tomb and Risen Savior transformed causal fans into devoted followers.  And it can still do the same thing today!
