As Paul reaches the end of his “dissertation” on the Resurrection in 1 Corinthians 15, he turns his focus to the future.  Jesus resurrection is not just an event in the past, it is THE event that defines our future.  His victory is our victory!  His eternity is our eternity!    

All throughout Paul’s discussion of Jesus’ resurrection, I’ve had questions lingering in the back of my mind.  Every time Paul talks about our resurrection, those questions get louder.  In fact, you might be asking the same questions.  Today, Paul finally begins to answer our unspoken questions and addresses our inquisitive minds.    

We’ve all heard it said that actions speak louder than words.  Today we pause to reflect on that statement in view of our faith.  Do our actions align with our words when it comes to living for Jesus?  The Corinthian church struggled with this; but if we’re honest, so do we!
