Didn’t our kids do a great job yesterday?!?  It was great to see them up on stage singing and acting!  I don’t know about you but I really enjoyed hearing and seeing the Christmas story brought to life in several different ways!  With Christmas coming up every year, it can easily become something we just “do”.  The real challenge at Christmas is to keep our hearts centered and focused on the coming of Christ and His presence in each of our lives.  I would challenge you this week as you make all the final preparations for your family’s celebration to pause for a few minutes and simply thank God for sending His One and Only Son into the world!

I hope to see you all on Christmas Eve at 7pm but I know that many of you will be traveling to see family so let me take this opportunity to simply say “Merry Christmas!”  I hope you each have a wonderful day celebrating with family and friends as you reflect on the gift of Christ!
