My husband Paul and I have been married for 44 years and have 2 children and 3 grandsons who are the delight of our lives. Paul grew up in the BIC church and is a retired ordained BIC pastor. I came to the BIC church a few years after Paul and I married. We have been involved in several BIC churches prior to coming to HBIC during its second year. We have served in various roles over the years: SS teachers, deacons, leadership team member, women’s ministry coordinator, prayer commission members and most recently as members of the strategic planning committee.
My former profession was nursing. I am an RN with a master’s in health education and I served as a public health nurse, nursing instructor, and school nurse practitioner. When I retired, the Lord led me to increase my involvement with the church and I became our Adult Ministry Coordinator and now our Church Life Coordinator. I love our church and have a passion to help HBIC be a welcoming and pleasant place for us to interact. My other passion is to see the women of our church develop a close walk with the Lord and each other.
Beyond church, I love spending time with my family, gardening, swimming and reading.
